Identify the product clearly
Begin with the product type and intended use. State whether the request covers an everyday bra, seamless style, plus-size support bra, corset bra or another category. Attach drawings, reference images or a physical sample when available.
Provide the target specification
List the preferred material, color range, size range, cup construction, support features and closure type. Include details such as removable straps, lace placement, molded cups, wide wings or packaging requirements only when they are part of the actual project.
State quantity and market requirements
Quotation depends on order quantity, the number of colors and sizes, material availability and customization. Share the estimated quantity per style and color, the destination market and any required testing or documentation.
Explain branding and packaging needs
Specify logo placement, care labels, woven labels, hang tags, bags and boxes. If artwork is not ready, state which elements still need development so they can be separated from the initial product quotation.
Add timing and logistics information
Provide the desired sample date, target bulk delivery window and shipping destination. If a particular trade term is required, include it in the RFQ. Final lead time should be confirmed against the approved style, quantity and material.
Use a simple RFQ checklist
- Product reference or tech pack
- Material and construction requirements
- Colors and size range
- Quantity by style
- Branding and packaging
- Testing or document requirements
- Destination and target timing
- Buyer contact information
Sending these details helps the manufacturer identify open questions and prepare a project-specific response.
